Ingredients:
1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 cup Italian-style breadcrumbs
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons melted butter
1 tablespoon lemon juice
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Options for Serving:
Marinara sauce
Cooked pasta
Extra Parmesan
Lemon wedges
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 400°F. Lightly grease a baking dish or sheet pan.
Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels and place them in a bowl. Toss with olive oil.
In a separate bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
Add the breadcrumb mixture to the shrimp and toss until the shrimp are evenly coated.
Arrange the shrimp in a single layer in the prepared baking dish. Drizzle the melted butter and lemon juice over the top.
Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the shrimp are pink, cooked through, and the topping is lightly golden.
Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve immediately with marinara sauce, pasta, or your favorite side dishes.
Notes:
Do not overbake the shrimp, or they can become rubbery.
For extra crispiness, place the shrimp under the broiler for 1 to 2 minutes at the end.
You can use panko breadcrumbs for a crunchier texture.
Freshly grated Parmesan gives the best flavor.
Serving Ideas:
Serve this baked shrimp Parmesan over spaghetti with warm marinara sauce, alongside a Caesar salad, or with roasted broccoli and garlic bread for an easy meal.
