Easy Ground Beef Stroganoff
An easy and comforting ground beef stroganoff with creamy sour cream sauce, served over egg noodles for a quick and delicious weeknight dinner.

Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
1 medium onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 cup beef broth
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1 cup sour cream
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
Salt and pepper to taste
8 oz egg noodles (or pasta of choice)
Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
Instructions:
Cook the pasta:
Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Brown the ground beef:
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook, breaking it up with a spatula, until browned and fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
Sauté the onions and garlic:
Add the chopped onion to the skillet with the cooked beef and sauté for about 2-3 minutes until the onions are softened.
Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute, stirring constantly.
Create the sauce:
Sprinkle the flour over the beef mixture and stir well to coat. This will help thicken the sauce.
Gradually pour in the beef broth while stirring, ensuring there are no lumps. Add the Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, and paprika. Stir to combine.
Bring the mixture to a simmer and let it cook for about 5 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened.
Finish the stroganoff
Reduce the heat to low and stir in the sour cream until fully incorporated. Cook for another 2-3 minutes, until heated through. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Serve:
Serve the beef stroganoff over the cooked egg noodles. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley if desired.
