Easy Sloppy Joes
A simple, flavorful, and delicious recipe for Sloppy Joes that is perfect for a weeknight meal.

Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef
1 onion, chopped
1 green bell pepper, chopped
1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed tomato soup
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon dried mustard
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Hamburger buns or rolls
Instructions:
Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat. Drain off any excess grease.
Add the onion and green bell pepper to the skillet and cook until softened about 5 minutes.
Stir in the tomato sauce, tomato soup, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, salt, and pepper.
Bring to a simmer and cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Serve on hamburger buns or rolls.
Tips:
For a spicier Sloppy Joe, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the mixture.
To make these sloppy joes ahead of time, cook the beef and vegetables and then store the mixture in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat gently before serving.
Serve these sloppy joes with your favorite sides, such as french fries, potato chips, or coleslaw.
